This has nothing to do with the rp, but about my recent life.

March has been a very torturing month to me. There are soooo many activities we need to held, the student assosiaction is busy like hell. Moreover, I even joined the cheerleading contest. We have practices almost everyday. It was really tiresome but fun. I know more about the freshman and sophomores and I am glad I joined it.

The cheerleading ended this Wednesday. Our dept. won the 3rd prize. I cried at the moment while the host announcing the orders. I was so dissapointed cuz I think we are the best and we deserve the first prize. It's a pity that the judges don't see our good and choose the other. Anyway, we had fun during this whole month, I enjoyed it a lot. What's more important is the whole dept. came to cheer for us, it was really touching. It's like the thanksgiving in english department, we gather together and share the happiness together. I love it!

And I want to apologize to Doris, sorry I handed in all of my assignments so late. I will try to manage my time. Plus, hope you will gradually feel better.

All of my classes in this semester are more difficult than last semester, I have Shakespeare and postmodern. Total 19 credits! I do need to focus more on the studies and spend more time on reading. It's time to study!

oh. one more thing, our group for the e-magazine went to northeast coast this Saturday. We had fun there and need to quickly start organizing the content.

In the end, wish everyone has a good and relaxing time in spring break.

About my first-hand data collection plan, I prefer to use questionnaires.
I will design the questionnaires and try to find more and more interviewees as possible.
If time permits, I would like to interview an editor from one of the fashion magazines.
I think these methods will be enough for me to find my supportive evidences.

My rp will focus on the issue of how fashion magazines affect the consuming behavior
on female college students. I want to explore this area is because myself indeed love reading fashion magazine and I will buy 2 or 3 magazines in every month; while reading the magazine, I am aware of the marketing and advertising in the magazine. I think by keep promoting the products and posting the same product from a certain brand may have influence on the readers.
However, the readers' range is too broad, instead of analyzing the whole group, I put my focus on the female college students. One of the reason is that this group of consumers are closer to me. The other is, from my daily observation, female college students gradually have the trend to imitate the dress and style posted on the magazine. I found them become extreme enthusiastic about some certain products. Fashion magazine's influences are clear on them.
My research paper will begin with the introduction of two different styles of magazine. One is Japanese style and the other is Amerian style.Both trends have their own features and they become the mainstream of fashion magazines published in Taiwan.
Later on, I will talk about the causes of the effect. The obvious one is the affectionate phrases use in the magazine. It helps to idealized the product, and attract the customers to buy it.
Besides direct causes, there are two theories would support the fashion magazines do help the company to promote products and commonized the readers.
The conclusion will be calling readers' attention to stay awake to the info. posted on the fashion magazine and do not become the victim under the commonization of fashion magazines.

The whole paper will be more specific after I collect more information to support the thesis.
And also I will add the results of my first-hand data collections, hope this paper will be more concrete and persuasive.
